Have you ever studied the power of gratitude?

Being grateful is important because it encourages you to focus on what you have rather than focusing on what you don’t have.

Too often, people think a lot about what they don’t have, which only leads to greed, jealousy, and resentment. Who wants to live that way?

Those attitudes are stifling to your faith and your confidence!

Today, Don Howe wants to share a few things about practicing gratitude, and how it can change your life.

How the Power of Gratitude Can Change You

Don has two daughters that are currently focused on creating good habits. His daughter Lydia is focused on the power of gratitude.

Upon waking, Lydia states 10 things that she is grateful for. Wow. Have you done this recently? It has been said that the first thing you think about when you get up in the morning, and what you think about last are going to set the tone for your day.

Wouldn’t you love to have a day where nothing holds you back?

Generally, it seems that we get in our own way by focusing our efforts in only one area of our lives. We tend to focus on things that aren’t positive, or things that are selfish.

We live in a world that says, “Look at me!” It’s mostly self-serving.

It’s great to be successful in business, but if you can put these habits into practice in your personal life, can you imagine how much more successful you would be in your business?

Lydia has been practicing this habit for 3 years. Can you imagine how differently she sees things in life? What if you could do the same?

The Power of Gratitude and Do it Now!

Don’s other daughter, Helena, is also practicing a great habit. Her habit is saying, “Do it now!” upon waking in the morning.

What a powerful change of mindset!

This creates a sense of urgency, and it brings to your mind those most important things for the day. Can you imagine what would happen if you combined the habit of practicing gratitude and do it now?

You would be more grateful for every opportunity that comes your way, and you would be more inclined to tackle the hardest things of your day first.

Why not live your life to the fullest, and why not be the best that you can be?
